Main mission
The Entrepreneur in Residence will play a key role in engaging, and supporting academic researchers, in close collaboration with laboratories and connecting the academic world with keys stakeholders of the chemistry sector
1. Project Support and Structuring
- Assess the technological and market potential of 10 to 20 projects
- Challenge projects on technical maturity, value proposition, positioning, and competition
- Provide strategic input on business models and valorization options (licensing, startup creation, partnerships, prospects)
2. Ecosystem Mobilization
- Engage a network of industrial, investor, and institutional partners
- Facilitate connections between laboratories, startups, and companies in the sector
Qualification level
- Experienced business profile with strong expertise in innovation applied to polymers, materials, and organic chemistry
- Good understanding of academic research and ability to engage with scientists
- Skilled at communicating, inspiring, and mobilizing around ambitious projects
- Experience within deeptech ecosystems and a strong active professional network in the chemistry industry
